May 13: Young Playwrights for Change Celebration


Adventure Stage Chicago’s Young Playwright for Change Finalist Honored with National Prize & Readings
ASC celebrates its Young Playwrights for Change finalists with staged readings of original, 10-minute plays by middle-school writers on the theme of EMPATHY IN ACTION: Combating Bullying. ASC’s regional winner was recently announced as the National Young Playwrights for Change winner by Theatre for Young Audiences/USA (TYA/USA) and the American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE). His play will receive its own celebratory reading at One Theatre World 2017 in San Francisco this May.
